Women preparing a meal
In Uganda there are mostly the women who take care of the house work. There is also most usual for the women in Sweden to cook but not in the same way as in Uganda. About 29% of the inhabitants in Uganda don’t access to clean drinking water. Can you imagine a life whiteout that?
Homosexual situation in Uganda
During the autumn the newspaper “Rolling Stone” in Uganda published several articles about the top 100 most dangerous homosexuals in Uganda. During the spring there was also a law proposal that if you knew a homosexual and hadn’t reported it to the government you would go to prison. There are already a couple of laws that punishes homosexuals in Uganda. Why is the population of Uganda so homophobic? Was the situation the same before the European settlements came?
Children in Uganda
In Uganda children of different classes don’t have the same possibility to play. Same as in Sweden the children are expected to play differently depending on if you are a girl or boy. If you are raised differently depending on your class and sex will we ever be able to build a sustainable society?
Wedding

Job
Not to long ago only men worked in Sweden, the women stayed at home. The situation is the same in Uganda today. Why is it so all over the world the men work while the woman stays at home?

City and the country
In Uganda is the population in the country side more “isolated” from the outside world than in the city. There is also more uncommon for children to go to school in the country side, and if children go to school there are most boys. Also women working outside the house are more uncommon there. Is it weird that prejudices grow if you don’t get to know anything from the outside world?
